Your questions about...
What is the difference between steam and compressed air?
Steam is used for big areas. Its main advantage is to be very hot so it overflows very quickly the room with steam. Warm air is indeed lighter than cold air, so the steam and the disinfecting product will rapidly rise in the atmosphere of the room and then drop on all the surfaces in contact with the air. Nevertheless, disinfecting using steam increases the hygrometric level of the room, unlike disinfection with compressed air. For some applications the humidity should not exceed a certain level. In this case it is better to use the compressed air method.
Do the machines need attendance ?
The compressed air disinfection machine AIRBIO doesn’t need human intervention. The disinfecting operation can be made at night or during the week-end in order to preserve the access to the room by employees during the work-time. The steam disinfection machine STAMBIO can be used with or without operator depending on the utilization wanted. It can be useful to use it on manual mode with a flexible tube to reach some places (like the inside of a machine or an air duct…). But it can also be used on automatic mode just like the AIRBIO, in order to disinfect your premises at night or during the week-end.
Why disinfecting with machines rather than sprays?
The airborne disinfection method is more effective than a classical disinfection with sprays. The disinfecting steam generated by the machine will spread on all the surfaces on contact with the air, in areas an operator can hardly reach. A disinfecting operation meets specific objectives and to reach a satisfying result it must respect a standard. A machine will always repeat the same operation whereas an operator will not always produce the same efficiency.
What are the other machines available on the market?
There are other manufacturers for airborne disinfection and prices vary from one manufacturer to another. What can explain this difference and how to know if the price is justified? You have to start by checking whether the supplier got the airborne disinfection standard, called in France NF T 72-281, and be sure the laboratory which has performed the tests for this standard is accredited by the COFRAC association. Without the standard document, you have no proof on the effectiveness of the disinfection, which has to meet particular objectives.
Why did you choose to make stainless-steel machines?
Our machines have to be robust and reliable. Stainless-steel is a material which enables this robustness over the time.
...our after sale service
How does the after sale service function?
The after sale service is a specific entity in IBL Specifik. As disinfection is a critical operation, our customers need a rapid and efficient after sale service. This is why we offer them custom-made contracts fitting their needs.
What is the time limit?
It depends on the contract. You may have for instance a replacement machine under 48 hours or 5 working days. If you make disinfections every day, then you will need a replacement machine very quickly whereas if you make disinfections once a week, you will prefer a contract adapted to your needs with a longer waiting period.
What is the machines’ reliability?
Our machines are subjects to regular tests which enable us to check the reliability of the parts. All the parts are made in Europe and have been selected after years of research. We have chosen to manufacture top-quality material matching the demanding customers’ needs, like big pharmaceutical laboratories or the army.
What are the prices of the machines?
Is a long-term rental possible?
Yes, it is possible. We can offer you leasing solutions. In order to discuss on the best solution adapted to your needs, please contact us by e-mail.
Do you have a partnership with service providers?
If you don’t want to invest in disinfection material or if you have a temporary need, there are service providers which use our material and our procedures. You will then have the guarantee of a disinfection that respects the current standard. For further information, please contact us by e-mail, by online chat, or by phone: 0033 1 41 98 32 20.
